Softech Nitrate Removal Filter is used to remove the nitrate ions in the water by using ion exchange resin.
The water to be treated passes through ion exchange anionic resin placed inside the Nitrate Removal Filter tank. The ion exchange function of the resin ensures that the nitrate in the water remains on the resin, resulting in nitrate removal. Once the anionic resin is saturated, it is regenerated with salt water and becomes renewed.
Key components of a Nitrate Removal Filter comprise of the anionic resin, resin tank, salt tank and an automated valve assembly for regeneration. These systems perform flow controlled regeneration.
Alternatively, Reverse Osmosis Systems are used to remove the nitrate ions in the water. The right solution is chosen in accordance with water quality and customer requirements.
