Dry Scrubber Systems are odor removal systems used to reduce or completely eliminate the unpleasant odors at pumping stations, wastewater treatment plants, screen buildings and sludge dewatering buildings etc.
Dry Scrubbers work based on the principle that the air supplied to the system via a fan passes through odor mineral(s) manufactured specifically for odor removal in a tank that is designed to ensure a suitable filtration velocity and contact time.
The concentration of gases coming from the plant, the desired air/odor concentrations at the outlet, air flow, environmental conditions, the desired service life for mineral change time and other requirements are taken into consideration to design system. Dry Scrubber system contains an odor filter tank, odor removal minerals, a fan and a control panel as a whole system. Optional units and equipment that may be needed can be added to the system.
